Donald Trump, he has America’s attention but is he capable
of being a quote” Conservative Leader” of our Nation? He has used his
popularity as a reality show host to elevate him to this position as a current
Republican front runner by using a strategy that career politicians shy away
from and that is saying what the majority of all Americans believe, but are
afraid to say because to do so as an average American is to handicap yourself
socially, and financially by being labeled a racist and a hater.
Trump on the other hand is independently wealthy and really
has nothing to fear from the left wingers or the politically correct
Republicans that are all afraid to speak the truth while navigating their
frail rafts through the mine field of politically correctness that
exists in this Nation today so as to preserve their political futures.
From what I see Trump is not a true Conservative, nor is he
a pure Liberal either but I believe he has the tendency to lean more left than right and has disguised it pretty well with the help of a staff that seems to be in
tune with that particular segment of upper middle aged American voters who are
primarily white and remember how their Nation and American Lifestyles used to be before the removal of
prayer from public school and the incorporation of desegregation. They represent
the targeted group that cannot speak up without facing financial ruin but see
in Trump the possibility of someone who could possibly reverse some of the destructive policies
brought on by the Liberal Socialists and their failed social experiments that have
severely damaged the very moral fabric of our Nation.
However what people need to remember is perhaps the fable of
the Pied Piper of Hamelin, of course
many younger Americans will be clueless as to who the Pied Piper is or to the
lesson it teaches as sadly parents these days seldom share these stories with children
as they rely on electronic teaching devices and television to do it for them so the
lessons to be learned are lost which is also why we have many of the issues we
have today concerning the lack of family values.
Is Trump the new Pied
Piper? will he rid us of the rats? or is he offering to America the solutions they
want hear and if he could possibly do all he says he will do if elected what would be the
price? What would the cost be to our
future, our children’s futures, our Freedoms, our Liberties? Everything has a price and there is no free ride.
Americans need to realize that Trump is a businessman, an opportunist,
someone who knows how to manipulate people and situations to get the desired
results in the business world, and he is now applying his talents to the
political world.
One thing America should understand that all political
candidates talk the talk but few ever walk the walk and Trump will be no
exception to the rule all one has to do is listen to what he says to see how
his positions have changed even since his campaign began, and one of the most
dangerous for all Americans is his views on the Second Amendment;
- Donald Trump generally opposes gun control.
- He thinks that every law abiding citizen should have a gun if they want to.
- Trump believes that assault weapons should be banned, “who needs them except criminals and police?”
- He wants a longer waiting period for hand guns, rifles and shotguns. We should be able to tell within 72 hours if a person has a record or mental issues that would prohibit ownership.
IN OTHER WORDS HE IS NOT PRO SECOND AMENDMENT!
Maybe
Trump should read the Second Amendment before he speaks out about it but he has done what any good businessman would do and said what people
wanted to hear which is “I support the
second amendment.” But in reality he cannot be supportive if he believes in
restricting any of the rights afforded us in the Constitution through gun bans, and other policies
so what would be next? “I support free Speech as long as it doesn’t offend me?”
Or do we just outlaw certain words because "who needs them except police and politicians?"
See
the comparison he is speaking out of both sides of his mouth and his support of
any assault weapons ban is nothing more than a ban on many semiautomatic
sporting rifles and hand guns as defined in the Feinstein Bill that failed to
pass in 2013. Most Americans have already forgot about the contents of that
Bill and many did not know what was in it in the first place, it was all about
a political agenda to strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights by using
key word associations such as the Term “Assault Weapon” which had nothing to do
with the rifles and handguns that would have been banned, it was all about
perception based on manipulated data to pursue a Socialist agenda nothing more,
nothing less.
Trump knows the American people have forgot
about Feinstein’s bill, because he also knows that most of the American people
have short attention spans as long as the subject matter does not hit them in
their wallet, or land in the middle of their dinner tables as a problem causing
them immediate irritation and he also knows that if he is somehow elected
President then he will use the Assault Weapons ban as a trade off chip with
liberals to get something else he would value more than our Second Amendment
rights. So be careful America, do not get swept up in the rhetoric and the
theatrics and take things at face value, use wisdom.
Enough said,
Have a White Day.
